Jay Michaud holds a United States Coast Guard 100 Ton Masters License. He provides many other services including deliveries, yacht management, repair supervision, and on-the-water vessel handling skills training.

Jay presently owns and operates the forty-two foot lobster boat International Harvester out of Marblehead, Massachusetts, which is available for research and fishing charters.
